Animals improve, deepen and clarify my life in numerous ways. Anything that I can do to help animals and the people who love them is my strongest desire.
I recently joined the Murrayhill Veterinary Hospital team after living and practicing veterinary medicine in Phoenix, AZ for ten years. I am excited to soak up the beautiful landscape and culture of the Northwest.
I have special interests in surgery, internal medicine, dentistry, dermatology, and emergency/critical care medicine. Veterinary medicine is such a joy for me – I love learning, teaching, and working with amazing dedicated people. I look forward to many years of developing strong relationships with my patients and their families.
Loves of my life: Cliff, my ever-loving husband; two exuberant children (Cameron age 7, and Maddie age 4); two playful dogs (Olivia the Pit Bull and Lucy the Queensland mix); six affectionate and quirky cats (Boots, Sunny, Chardonnay, Fergie, Hero, and Fox); two bossy birds (Jade and Astro, green-cheek conures); two mellow corn snakes (Slider and Zippy); and two inquisitive Blackbear hamsters (Smoothie & Softie).

" We moved last year, but continue to drive clear across town to take our dogs here, simply because you're not going to find better care for your four-legged family members. Dr Herman is the best vet we've ever seen. She treats our dogs as if they were her own, and never makes us feel rushed, despite our seemingly endless questions. The rest of the staff here is amazing, as well! Always super friendly, and they remember our dogs by name when we walk through the door. Love this place! "
" I would highly refer this Veterinary Hospital to anyone. Words just can't describe how wonderful the staff is there. Dr. Goodman has so much empathy and really made our visit much better than we had anticipated. My entire family has been there to meet the team and we just can't believe how wonderful they are. "
" Great care! First time at this clinic, actually first time at any hospital with a problem. Staff was fantastic, caring and confident. Took great care of our cat peppy and put her on the path to recovery. Can't forget the followup, they called three times the following week checking up on her condition. NO ONE follows up like that anymore. Great care, great clinic, very cat friendly. "
" I switched to Murray Hill Vet Hospital since it was closer to my house. My pup and I had a great first visit! Friendly, knowledgeable staff! I feel confidant in their ability to treat animals. Great communication. Will definitely refer friends and family.
" Very friendly and knowledgeable staff! Clean and nice environment! And most importantly took excellent care of my Golden Doodle! "
" Fabulous! - I love this clinic and have taken all my loved ones to them. They are worth every penny. I won't go anywhere else unless I don't have any more furry loved ones - which I can't imagine!"
