Dr. Amy Horlings

Dr. Horlings began her career in Emergency medicine, after years of experience as a veterinary technician with both emergency and specialty practices. “The medical experience in critical care, oncology, and cardiology practices was invaluable, yet it also reinforced for me my wish to help pets throughout their lives, rather than through a single illness. Preventative medicine, especially dental care and health screenings is such an important part keeping our pets healthy, and it’s why Veterinary Family Practice is my calling.”

The Loves of My Life

After years of living with Labradors, the house is now a haven for tiny dogs: Guinness and Tuley the terriers, and Mac the Papillon with two speeds (asleep and hyperactive). Leo, my beloved rescue cat, is of course the ultimate authority and keeps us all in line.
