The following is the recommended preventative care for your puppy’s first year of life.

8 weeks

• Comprehensive Wellness Physical Exam
• Distemper/Parvo Vaccine (DAP) #1
• Fecal Parasite Screen (for intestinal parasite identification).
• Deworming with Drontal Plus
• Heartworm, intestinal parasite and flea prevention with Sentinel prescription
• Well Puppy Kit

12 weeks

• Puppy Wellness Physical Exam
• Distemper/Parvo 3-Year Vaccine DAP #2
• Bordetella (kennel cough) and parainfluenza intranasal vaccine
• Heartworm/Intestinal Parasite/Flea Prevention (Sentinel)

14 weeks

• Technician appointment
• Leptospirosis Vaccine (#1)

17 weeks

• Puppy Wellness Physical Exam
• Leptospirosis Vacine (#2)
• Wellness blood testing to evaluate your puppy's internal organ health prior to the spay or neuter surgery
• Sentinel 12-month supply

19 weeks

• Technician appointment
• Rabies Vaccine

6 months

• Ovariohysterectomy (spay) or neuter surgery
  (Includes surgery, Sevoflurane anesthesia, local anesthetic block, pre and post surgery pain control medication, IV fluids, multiparameter patient monitors, surgical laser (less pain, less bleeding), hospitalization, nail trim, anal sac expression and surgery aftercare)
• Microchip implant (HomeAgain)
• Fecal parasite screen
