The following is the recommended preventative health care for your kitten's first year of life.

  • Comprehensive wellness exam
  • FVRCP (#1)
  • Feline Leukemia test
  • Fecal centrifugation test for intestinal parasite identification
  • Deworming with Drontal Plus
  • Revolution (for flea / heartworm / intestinal parasite / ear mite control)—Outdoor cats
          or,
  • Program (for flea control)—Indoor cats
     

12 weeks

 
  • Technician appointment
  • Feline Leukemia vaccine (#1)
     

14 weeks

 
  • Kitten progress exam
  • FVRCP (#2)
     

16 weeks

 
  • Technician appointment
  • Feline Leukemia vaccine (#2)
     

18 weeks

 
  • Kitten progress exam
  • Rabies vaccine
  • Junior Wellness blood testing to evaluate your kitten's internal organ health prior to the spay or neuter surgery
     

6 months

 
  • Ovariohysterectomy (spay) or neuter
    (Includes surgery, anesthesia, pre and post surgery pain control medication, IV fluids, human-grade patient monitors, hospitalization, nail trim and surgery aftercare)
  • Felv/FIV test
  • Fecal parasite screen
  • Microchip implant (24 Pet Watch)
