A Brief Tutorial for VetPacs Online
Use Microsoft Internet Explorer:
To view your pets x-rays at vetpacs.com, you'll need to use Microsoft Internet Explorer (unfortunately, Firefox and some other web browsers are unable to view the x-rays).
When the X-Rays Are Available:
Your pet's x-rays can be viewed online at vetpacs.com within 24 hours of the x-ray exam. Barring any delays, vetpacs.com receives all x-rays at about midnight, seven days a week.
The Web Code:
At the time your veterinarian discusses the results of your pet's x-ray exam, you will be offered an access code to view the x-rays online at vetpacs.com.
|
| |
Ready?
To start, enter www.vetpacs.com into Internet Explorer, or click on this link.
Enter the web code given by your veterinarian, and click "Get Exam". |
 |
| |
The main exam page will appear, with thumbnail images of your pet's x-rays on the left. Click on any of the images to view them full size. |
 |
| |
If you haven't viewed a VetPacs x-ray on your computer before, you may receive a message at the top of your screen that says: "This site might require the following ActiveX control: ...". You will need to allow the VetPacs website to install the ActiveX control before your computer can display the x-ray. Click on this message.

|
| |
A menu will pop up similar to the one below. Click "Install ActiveX Control..."

|
| |
 |
The buttons along the bottom of the page allow you to magnify the images (zoom in), and adjust the brightness and contrast. |
