Digital Dental Radiology
In addition to our digital radiology system, our new digital dental radiology system also acquires x-ray images, tranforms them into digital images, and saves them to our computer database.
The advantages of this technology far overshadow the older, conventional x-ray equipment:

- DR allows instant image acquisition - films are ready to be viewed immediately after taking them!
- DR is less expensive
- DR is less time consuming
- DR allows for easy electronic storage and transfer
- DR allows greatly improved image quality. We have the highest resolution medical grade equipment available to Veterinary Medicine. This means improved diagnostic abilities for your sick pet!
The new digital dental radiology system makes x-rays available to our doctors immediately, with tools to examine them in greater magnification and accuracy.
Our hospital staff also benefit from the increased safety of the digital system because caustic chemicals of the older film developing are no longer necessary. |
